SUD: (s'ood) Latin for south

Continuing to serve Melbourne style, Italian food with a southern flavour, SUD is an intimate, 40 seat dining room located at 219 King Street in between Little Bourke and Lonsdale Streets.

Unlike most restaurants, we change our menu daily; the result of taking what's good at the markets that morning and creating dishes based on these ingredients rather than sourcing sometimes mediocre items just because a dish is on the menu. This means that you always get the best quality and keeps our menu interesting for our many regulars.

The wine list has an emphasis on food friendly wines from some interesting, boutique producers around the country and a solid collection of Italian wines and varietals for something a little different. The staff are also happy to suggest some of their favorites among the list to suit the particular dishes ordered.

Lunch and Dinner Monday to Friday.
Closed weekends and public holidays.
